Infrastructure for new studies, discovery through molecular mimicry and our own research lines in advanced therapies. One continuous line of work, from the first evidence to the next generation of treatments.

Medicine has learned to treat autoimmunity. Neural Omega Research sets out to understand it: where pathogen and human proteins resemble each other, and what follows when the immune system cannot tell them apart.

From evidence to advanced therapies.

One continuous line of work backs new therapies at every stage: the studies that reveal the biology, the discovery that finds the target, the development that builds the candidate and the research that opens new modalities.

  1. Stage 01/ 04

    Evidence

Observational and cohort studies on consented, longitudinal data, open to academic groups and patient organisations.

  2. Stage 02/ 04

    Discovery

Targets revealed by molecular mimicry between pathogen and human proteins, from identification toward validation.

  3. Stage 03/ 04

    Development

Validated targets move into development alongside pharma R&D teams, with clear intellectual property boundaries.

  4. Stage 04/ 04

    Advanced therapies

Our own research lines explore advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), informed by what molecular mimicry reveals.3

Stages describe how our work is organised. The status of each platform is set out on its own website.4

Two structures.
One resemblance.

When a pathogen protein shares a segment with a human one, the immune response raised against the first can recognise the second. Our research begins where those resemblances are found.

  1. Level 01

    Screen

Proteome-wide comparison of pathogen and human proteins reveals where they resemble each other.

  2. Level 02

    Classify

Our models classify those resemblances by pattern and biological context.

  3. Level 03

    Explore

We explore which resemblances may shape an immune response, and how to act on them.

Read the science behind it

Open to those who move science forward.

Academic groups

Design and run observational and cohort studies on longitudinal evidence, with infrastructure ready from the first day.

Patient organisations

Set research priorities with their own communities, on their own terms.

Public institutions

Structured evidence on disease burden, access to treatment and care pathways, across Spain and Europe.

Pharma and biotech

Discovery and development partnerships with clear intellectual property boundaries, audit trails and regulatory-grade documentation.

Rigorous by method. Accessible by design.

Runs from24GBof RAM. Our platforms run on a standard research workstation, so serious analysis is within reach of any group.5
Speaks the standards
  • HL7 FHIR
  • OMOP CDM
  • GDPR
  • EHDS

Built to move between centres, countries and health systems.

Powerful tools, simple interfaces
The depth of a research platform behind interfaces the whole team can use, from the bench to the clinic.
Consent first
Participation is opt-in for every study. Data from Neural Omega Health enters research only with explicit, study-specific consent.1
Separate by design
Pharma partnerships operate under their own commercial and data model, apart from the health apps for patients and clinicians.
Built for the European Health Data Space
Aligned with HL7 FHIR and OMOP, and designed for multi-centre, cross-border studies under the GDPR.2

Two platforms. One line of discovery.

Evidence and discovery, each with its own home, connected by the same science.

Shape the future
of medicine with us.

Research groups, patient organisations, public institutions and pharma R&D teams are welcome to start a conversation.

  1. Neural Omega processes personal health data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), within the European Union.
  2. Interoperability follows the HL7 FHIR standard, the OMOP Common Data Model and the framework of Regulation (EU) 2025/327 on the European Health Data Space.
  3. Advanced therapy medicinal products as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1394/2007. Neural Omega’s own research lines in this field are exploratory.
  4. The pipeline describes the organisation of Neural Omega’s research activity. Product capabilities, availability and status are set out on each platform’s own website.
  5. Minimum configuration. Actual requirements depend on the platform and on the size of each dataset.
